As well as continuing to watch over those who link the Fire, Gwyndolin appeared to be tracking down descendants of the gods who fled Anor Londo millenia prior and bringing them back Irithyll. īy the events of Dark Souls III, Gwyndolin has become the main figure of authority and worship in Anor Londo, which by this time is now known as Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, taking his fathers title as King of the Gods. He uses the illusion of the princess Gwynevere to help hide his repulsive appearance. He was raised as a daughter due to his strong affiliation with the moon's power. Gwyndolin was the last born son of Lord Gwyn and the only true remaining deity to guard Anor Londo. He accepts Souvenirs of Reprisal in exchange for increasing the player's rank in the covenant. Gwyndolin initiates players into the Blade of the Darkmoon covenant. The entrance to Gwyndolin's boss room will be accessible at the same aforementioned location. The tomb can be found by using the spiraling staircase on the rotating bridge while the bridge is in its lowest position and descending to the second accessible bonfire. Also the firekeeper will become hostile in Anor Londo. Note: If you enter the fog you will no longer be able to join the covenant. You also won't have to pay the priest for leaving your previous covenant to join this covenant. Note: If you have previously joined a covenant, you will still be able to join the Blade of the Darkmoon, but you have to leave your current covenant to join. You will receive the Darkmoon Blade Covenant Ring and a Blue Eye Orb that you can use for invade worlds of the guilty as a spirit of vengence.You will be prompted to kneel, no gesture needed.
